We are using a frigid X Box Cooler for cooling small enclosures for laboratory use. Also, for environmental chambers and any application where a section needs cooling.
Note: Not approved for electrical and electronic control panels but may be used if approvals are not required
Remember, this low-cost system utilizes a stainless steel vortex tube. Also, it comes with an adjustable hot end to control the temperature produced in the enclosure.
The package includes all the necessary items to attach the vortex tube and a separate venting unit to the exhaust. They allow the displacement of hot air inside the enclosure. An optional hose distribution kit can distribute the cold air inside for larger sections. Also open is an optional solenoid and thermostat for on-off control.
