Ionizing Air Gun Function
This product is based on neutralizing spot charges utilizing bipolar ions.
The head of the device is enclosed by a sheet material shield, providing mechanical protection and serving as a counter-electrode. The unique shape of this shield creates bypass channels that assist an efficient six-channel blowing nozzle by stabilizing the airflow.
The application can adjust the airflow, particularly useful for treating small pieces. A power pack provides the required voltage.
And in some applications where the part needs extra attention for whatever reason, whether its complexity or the need for manual inspection after cleaning, you will need a human to neutralize and clean a statically charged part. Built ruggedly for industrial environments, the unit features an ergonomic design for comfortable handling. The assembly entrains atmospheric air along with a small amount of compressed air, conserving energy and minimizing noise levels.
You can replace any damaged part of the LG Ion Air Gun. The product includes ten feet (3 meters) of shielded cable that connects to a high voltage power supply.
The highly flexible, fully shielded cable maximizes usability in areas requiring extensive movement, such as neutralizing and cleaning large parts like plastic auto parts and components used in other industries.
The high concentration of ions can remove statically charged dirt and debris even from very high statically charged surfaces. The fully shielded cable eliminates the need to offset the cable from any conductive surface.
The full shielding means that there will not be any electrical leakage to deteriorate the life of the Ion Air Gun. The force from the Ion Air Gun is powerful enough to get into nooks and crannies where debris may be hiding and held in place due to static charge.
Once the static is removed the dirt can be easily removed from the surface providing a clean product that can then go to the next step of either coating, painting, assembly and/or packaging.
Removal of dirt particles is important as they will show up after painting and/or coating causing costly rejects. In packaging dirt particles that are not removed can eventually show up in the packaging negatively impacting the products image.
Cable length can be shortened on site by removing the patented connector, cutting the cable and then re-attaching the connector.
