Regulators with Gauges

• Regulators are necessary to set the supply pressure required 
• Different size regulators are offered depending on the flow rate needed for the point of use.

There is even a small mini-regulator offered with the Mist Cooler System kit. 

It is important to remember that all regulators come complete with a pressure gauge. They provide a visual of the pressure setting. 

Applications using compressed require adequate compressed air pressure to make the application successful.

Including blow-off, cooling, or conveying.

However, using the minimal pressure required for the application to succeed is also good practice. When you reduce pressure, you reduce flow and energy use. 

For blow-off applications, if you can use less pressure, it reduces energy. It can also minimize compressed air exhaust noise.

Regulators are often not used when using total supply pressure in applications. That doesn’t require a portion of the line pressure level.   

Regulators are relatively low cost, and not only can they provide potential savings. But they give via the gauge a continuous visual of the pressure. They ensure that you have adequate pressure for that point-of-use application.

The pressure reading, while the blow-off or any application is in use, will give the actual supply pressure to the product. Any unusual drop in value can indicate problems in the compressed air line.
